Measuring the Ascending Aorta Using Echocardiography
At our echo lab, we measure the size of the ascending aorta in every patient. We think you should do so, too. If you know where to measure, this task can be performed really easily and quickly. In this video, Thomas shows you how he does it. As with our previous videos, we try to keep it simple and snappy. We would also love to hear from you: how do you measure the aorta? Please tell us in the comments section!
