## Learning Objectives
- Master the sonoanatomy, sonopathology, and all basic and advanced scanning techniques for the abdominal organs, including the gastrointestinal tract, liver, pancreas, kidneys, spleen, and abdominal vasculature.
- Learn to accurately identify and evaluate both common and rare, benign and malignant abdominal pathologies — utilizing comprehensive B-mode assessment, Doppler, and CEUS imaging techniques.
- Focus on CEUS for advanced imaging — understand technical principles, indications, contraindications, and the interpretation of typical enhancement patterns. Integrate all of this into a practical CEUS workflow for your clinical practice.
- Gain a complete ultrasound overview of intestinal pathologies such as diverticulitis, IBD, ileus, and hernias, along with a broad range of pancreatic pathologies including IPMN, and diverse renal pathologies.
- Spotlight on the liver — understand quantitative ultrasound (QUS) techniques for evaluating hepatic steatosis, and learn to apply shear-wave elastography for liver stiffness assessment.
- Develop expertise in abdominal vascular ultrasound by building a solid understanding of vascular sonoanatomy and Doppler assessment of blood flow in abdominal vessels, with a particular focus on the portal vein.
