In this teaching video, Tommy shows you how to perform m-mode measurement of the left ventricle (LV) using echocardiography. When you do the measurement, always make sure that the ventricle has a round (not oval) appearance. If the ventricle looks oval, you should probably move the transducer up one intercostal space.
